Diretta + HQPlayer + GentooPlayer High Sample Rate instability

I am trying out Diretta; HQPlayer is my Diretta Host while Holo Red running Gentooplayer is my Diretta Target (paid version). Using NAD protocol, I'm able to get up to 1.536M PCM without a sweat; very little CPU utilization and network saturation, however when I try the exact same upsample rate over Diretta, the stream constantly cuts out and becomes robotic.
If I drop the upsample rate to 768kHz everything is fine. This leads me to believe there may be a buffer issue with the interface with the ASIO driver? Is there anything I can try? I can't seem to increase the Hardware buffer to more than 250ms. Network connection is Cat6 hardwired. Running HQPlayer Desktop 5.13.2 on Windows 11 Pro. Anything I should try?
Any advice, guidance is much appreciated. Thank you.
